Powered by Mochi

Wikipedia defines Mochi as a Japanese and Chinese rice cake made of glutinous rice pounded into paste and molded into shape. In Japan it is traditionally made in a ceremony called mochitsuki. While also eaten year-round, mochi is a traditional food for the Japanese New Year and is commonly sold and eaten during that time.

I call it yummy goodness. It is crazy how addicting this stuff is, but of course all in moderation. (I am still monitoring what I eat!) My eyes have been opened to all these new cuisines and it is awesomeness. So if you ever get a chance to try Mochi... don't be scared, just do it.

Tomorrow I am having shrimp chips...
