Moped Radio

On the way to work today there was a guy riding a moped with his ipod stuck to the windshield and a big speaker on the back with music blasting. Odd.

Utah loves porn!?

According to a recent study and the Salt Lake Tribune, Utah is the number one place for online porn viewing and subscriptions. I love it!

Fantasy Land Party for Work

We kicked off our fund raising season in style with a fantasy land style tea party! The volunteers loved it! And I think the staff loved it even more! I wish I could post our staff photo, it is so funny all of us dressed up from the different fairy tales. I still have to find and post my picture of me and Prince Charming...woowoo. Hopefully with the economy we can still make our goal!

Afterwards I had to take off the make up (and sadly the crown!) but we were brave enough to go to dinner in our costumes. We got some looks and our waiter even asked if we knew what month it was. All in all pretty funny!
I love doing these events for my job (and I love that I have awesome staff to help me!). I am lucky to get to do what I love and be able to dress up while doing it! Can't wait for the next party!

Fancy Girls. 12.15.08

Nicole and I both were invited to our works 103% club. Both of us did so well on our budgets that we were rewarded with a fancy dinner and a check. :)

Powered by Mochi

Wikipedia defines Mochi as a Japanese and Chinese rice cake made of glutinous rice pounded into paste and molded into shape. In Japan it is traditionally made in a ceremony called mochitsuki. While also eaten year-round, mochi is a traditional food for the Japanese New Year and is commonly sold and eaten during that time.

I call it yummy goodness. It is crazy how addicting this stuff is, but of course all in moderation. (I am still monitoring what I eat!) My eyes have been opened to all these new cuisines and it is awesomeness. So if you ever get a chance to try Mochi... don't be scared, just do it.

Tomorrow I am having shrimp chips...
